An LLM-maintained knowledge wiki: plain markdown, hybrid BM25 + vector retrieval, automated ingest from Gmail, Drive, web and PDFs, contradiction flagging. A working implementation of the pattern YC named a Summer 2026 RFS category.

An agent I run as my chief of staff: reachable over email and Slack, wired into Linear and GitHub, self-hosted on a Tailscale-locked VPS with tightly controlled access. Drafts briefings, tracks projects, executes recurring workflows.
Shipping

Amazon Web Services • South Africa
Owned a $44M+ portfolio across Sub-Saharan Africa's largest Tier-1 retail and financial services accounts, with key accounts growing 36-61% YoY. Partnered with senior engineering and business stakeholders to design and guide multi-year cloud transformations across data platforms, digital channels and core business applications, while mentoring 12 engineers into Solutions Architect roles.
NTT Data • South Africa
Advised enterprise clients on modernizing security operations and aligning technology with business risk. Combined consulting, solution design and business development to shape security roadmaps and close complex opportunities with vendors and partners.
Symantec • South Africa
Led a team of Security Pre-Sales Consultants, driving technical win strategy on major enterprise deals and supporting strategic account planning. Built an account and opportunity tracking tool that was adopted across the EMEA region and was formally recognized for its impact on Symantec's business.
Various Roles
Worked as a generalist IT consultant for small and medium businesses, implemented and trained customers on enterprise security products, and spent a brief period as a commercial real estate broker - including building a property database to manage listings.

Customer Success
Own Customer Success end to end at an AI privacy startup - onboarding, health, renewal and expansion for a global enterprise portfolio, plus the internal tooling the function runs on: usage analytics, health flagging and API enablement.
Enterprise Architecture
Partnered with a major African financial services organization on a multi-year cloud and data transformation. Helped shape the target architecture, guided migration decisions and supported the teams building out analytics, data science and customer-facing experiences.
Strategic Growth
Managed some of the largest enterprise cloud accounts in Sub-Saharan Africa, acting as a long-term technical partner. Balanced architecture depth with commercial thinking to unlock new workloads, drive adoption and support sustainable, multi-year growth.

About
I started in Johannesburg in 2000 as a generalist IT consultant, and spent my first decade in security - Symantec, then NTT Data - learning the skill that has carried every role since: sitting between deep technology and the people who have to bet their business on it, and making the decision legible.
At AWS that skill got its biggest test. For six years I was the technical partner to some of Sub-Saharan Africa's largest financial institutions and retailers - a $44M+ portfolio, multi-year cloud transformations, boardrooms and build teams in the same week.
In 2023 I moved my family to British Columbia, and the following year joined an AI startup, where I own the Customer Success function end to end for a global enterprise base. Same job as always, new frontier - helping serious organizations adopt technology that is moving faster than their comfort.
Since 2025 the building has gone agentic. I operate an LLM-maintained knowledge system, an AI chief of staff wired into my project tools, and multi-agent coding workflows that ship real platforms - including oohcentral.com, launched June 2026.
Security to cloud to AI. Johannesburg to Cape Town to Gibsons. Advisor to operator to builder. The constant is the translation work in the middle.
